  • Dr. Malcolm Richardson, Owner

    Originally from Blandford, Massachusetts, Dr. Richardson is a graduate of Cornell University and Dartmouth Medical School where he studied vaccine research. Dr. Richardson finished his education at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He was a professional cyclist for Cannondale, enjoys snow skiing, running and exploring Humboldt County. Dr. Richardson has two cats named "Pi" and "Genu", and three dogs "Orion", "Karina", and "Sawyer".

  • Dr. Erica Robinson, Owner

    Dr. Erica Robinson graduated from Humboldt State University in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Environmental Biology.  Not long after graduation she began working at Myrtle Avenue Pet Center as a kennel assistant, and quickly moved over to Myrtle Avenue Veterinary Hospital to work as a kennel assistant there.  Her interest and experience in the field of veterinary medicine developed and she became a registered veterinary technician in 1999.  In March of 2001 Dr. Robinson moved to Melbourne, Australia to attend veterinary school there.  In December of 2005 she graduated with honors from the University of Melbourne with a degree in veterinary medicine.  After completing several rigorous national and state examinations, she became a licensed veterinarian in the state of California.  In September of 2008 her journey had come full circle, and she began practicing as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Myrtle Avenue Veterinary Hospital.  Finally, on January 1st, 2012, Dr. Erica Robinson purchased Myrtle Avenue Veterinary hospital from Dr. Jeff Kelley- Day.  In addition to working as a veterinarian, Dr. Robinson enjoys reading, gardening, and is a mother to two fantastic young girls, Scarlett and Kylie Robinson.  Dr. Robinson also has two dogs, Zoey and Yeti, and two cats, Smokey, and Tiger Lilly.

    Dr. Tatiane Prado, originally from Brazil, graduated from Federal University of Uberlandia in 2015. She moved to Humboldt county in 2017 to explore everything that beautiful northern California has to offer. Joined Myrtle Avenue in 2019. In her free time she enjoys dancing, hiking and camping.
